It's been such a long time since I've had the time to actually sit down and write... For Valentines Day I took Gemma out to Hogsmeade and while I was waiting for the hot chocolate I watched her hop around outside trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue.
*he sets his quill down and leans back, with closed eyes, reliving the moment with a grin on his face*
She was laughing and smiling and when she caught me staring at her through the window she waved brightly and carried on... Merlin, I... I think I'm in love.... I'm not sure, though, since I've never actually...
*shakes head and resumes writing*
After the hot cocoa was done we walked along the busy streets and I bought her a magicked white rose that will not wilt. It floats upright on whatever surface you set it on... I thought it would tell her how I feel better than a normal wilt-able rose... Then we went into the pet store and played with some kittens that had just opened their eyes.
All in all, it was a very profitable day... Since then I've been twise with Gemma to go and see her father, Sirius, at 12 Grimmauld Place. He is a very interesting character, and he always gives me good advice with Snape. *chuckles* I like him very much. Gemma is lucky to have him for a father.
Yes... I'd much rather visit him than my own father at the moment. We're still not on speaking terms. Oh, bother, look at the time... I have to go and serve another detention... and observe this "remedial potions" thing that keeps going on between Snape and Harry... Harry has been rather silent recently. Either silent or exploding at everyone. Hormones... I tell ya....
